Users and traffic
Reddit has 130.3 million daily active uniques
Reddit reported 130.3 million daily active uniques (DAUq) in Q2 2026, up 18% from 110.4 million a year earlier (Reddit, Q2 2026 earnings release, July 30, 2026). Reddit defines a DAUq as a user whom it can identify with a unique identifier (Reddit Form 10-Q, quarter ended June 30, 2026).

Weekly active uniques passed 514 million
Reddit's weekly active uniques (WAUq) were 514.6 million in Q2 2026, up 24% year over year (Reddit, Q2 2026 earnings release). The 10-Q defines a WAUq the same way, as a user whom Reddit can identify with a unique identifier.

Most daily users are now outside the United States
| Region | Daily active uniques (Q2 2026) | Year-over-year growth | Weekly active uniques (Q2 2026) | Year-over-year growth |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| United States | 53.2 million | 6% | 197.2 million | 9% |
| International | 77.1 million | 28% | 317.4 million | 35% |
| Global | 130.3 million | 18% | 514.6 million | 24% |
International users make up about 59% of daily users (77.1 million of 130.3 million, our calculation from Reddit's figures). Growth abroad is more than four times the U.S. rate, which matters if you plan to reach non-U.S. audiences in English-language subreddits or local-language ones.

Reddit ranks 8th in global web traffic, per Similarweb
Similarweb's page for reddit.com listed a global rank of 8 in its September 2026 view (Similarweb estimate, retrieved October 22, 2026). The same page lists the top countries sending traffic in this order: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Germany. On desktop, organic search was the largest traffic source last month, at 56.2% of visits. Similarweb figures are third-party estimates, not Reddit-reported numbers, so treat the rank as indicative.

Reddit will stop reporting logged-in and logged-out users
Reddit said in its Q2 2026 Form 10-Q that "we will no longer report logged-in and logged-out DAUq" starting with the quarter ending September 30, 2026. Expect fewer public numbers on that part of the audience after this quarter.

Demographics
26% of U.S. adults use Reddit
Pew Research Center found that 26% of U.S. adults reported using Reddit in 2025, compared with 18% four years earlier (Pew Research Center, "Americans' Social Media Use 2025," November 2025; survey of 5,022 U.S. adults conducted February 5 to June 18, 2025). Pew says it gathered responses by phone before 2023 and by web, mail and phone in 2024 and 2025, and takes a cautious approach when comparing with its earlier data.

Younger adults and men use Reddit more

Reddit guides to $860 to $870 million of revenue next quarter

Content licensing is disclosed as contracts, not as a revenue line
Reddit's Form 10-Q reports $92.1 million of remaining performance obligations, which it says consist primarily of long-term content licensing contracts. The filing does not report a separate licensing revenue figure, and it does not say what "other revenue" of $43 million comprises, so this article does not attribute that line to licensing.

Methodology and sources
- Company figures: Reddit's Q2 2026 earnings release (dated July 30, 2026) and Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, both filed with the SEC. We checked each number against these documents on October 22, 2026.
- U.S. adult usage and education: Pew Research Center, "Americans' Social Media Use 2025."
- Traffic rank: Similarweb, a third-party estimate, not a Reddit-reported figure.
- Our calculations: international share of daily users and of revenue are derived from the figures above and are labeled as such.
- Limits: Reddit counts unique identifiers rather than people, so one person on two devices may be counted twice. This is our reading of its definition. This page has no RedditGrow first-party data. Reddit's next report will change the user and revenue numbers.

What this means for marketers
Three numbers matter for anyone doing Reddit outreach.
- The audience is large and still growing, but the growth is international. U.S. daily users grew 6% while international grew 28%. If your customers are in the U.S., the pool is steady rather than exploding.
- Search is a major route into Reddit threads. Organic search was the largest desktop traffic source for reddit.com last month, at 56.2% of visits, per Similarweb. A helpful reply in a thread that ranks on Google can be found by people searching long after it was posted. See Reddit SEO and GEO: why threads rank and Does ChatGPT cite Reddit?.
- Reddit is monetizing harder. Revenue per user is up 36% in a year, and advertising is 95% of revenue (our calculation: $762 million of $805 million). Before you buy ads, compare the cost with what organic replies can do: Are Reddit ads worth it?.
If you want to turn the audience into customers, start with how to find customers on Reddit and check the karma and account age rules so your first replies are not removed. RedditGrow finds the threads where people already ask for what you sell, scores them for buying intent and helps you write replies that you approve before they go out.
